Our continued Testing and channel expansion DrOve up sales by over $5K for beat buddy's effect pedals.

 

WHAT WAS THE CHALLENGE?

An online retailer of guitar effects pedals reached out to us via the Google Partner Network to help them with their eCommerce marketing. They were driving reasonable sales through AdWords but their ROI was negative. They needed help turning that return around.

 

 

what did we do?

We reduced ad spend that was being spent on broadly matched guitar-playing themed keywords and focused only on high-transaction intent keywords so that we could begin to improve ROI. Next, we layered in a remarketing campaign to close the loop. ROI continued to improve as we targeted cart abandoners with ads meant to entice the sale. Once ROI stabilized in AdWords, we set our sights on additional channels.

Bing and Bing Shopping were added and provided incremental sales at positive a ROI, but not at a very high level. True success didn’t occur until we expanded into Amazon Product Listings. By capitalizing on the vast market share Amazon has in the eCommerce space, we were able to drive significant increases in sales through FBA and a very efficient ROI.
